This doesn’t really surprise me. While there are a lot of other sources for movies to get on the ‘net, the industry ones are going to be the best quality until they’re out on DVD or video. Of COURSE they’re going to be the most heavily traded.

I thought that one spam bill supposedly passed (though, now, I can’t find any references to it), and there are others on the books, but really, it seems like the best way to stop spam is to not give anyone your e-mail address but people you can trust. Don’t publish it online, or you can pretty much expect spam. I’d rather see a law outlawing spyware that’s installed with other software that is, theoretically, benign.
