What the heck?
I don’t know about anyone else, but I thought the concept this country was founded on was something about equality and freedom or something. Not “seize a guy on flimsy evidence and send him off to be tortured elsewhere.”
As Wil Wheaton said, George Bush is fond of saying that they hate us for our freedom. So, his tactic for the War on Terror seems to be to take our freedoms away.

Am I the only person who thinks it’s extraordinarily stupid that this ‘financial column’ spends, maybe, 4 paragraphs talking about stuff that’s remotely related to finances, and then spends the rest of the article ranting about how video games are evil?
Not only that, but making a video game that has violence in it (granted, it’s a LOT of violence) is worse than pedophilia, stock fraud, and sucking down chemicals that will likely cause cancer?
I am aware that people are idiots. I know this. I hate the fact that every form of media (newspapers, television, whatever) has to beat me over the head with that fact.
Ugh.
