A few months ago, I learned that, if someone parks in your driveway and you can’t get to your house, you can’t do a thing about it. The cops will tell you that you can have them towed, but you have to do it yourself. The tow companies will tell you that, if the car is towed, you have to pay for it (even though it’s not yours) unless the cops come to give them “permission” to tow the car.

Now, I learn that, if a neighbor’s dog (which has threatened people, attacked other dogs, and chased our horses) kills a family pet, the cops will refuse to do anything. Not their problem, unless it kills a person.

If nothing else, there’s property damage, which they should file a report on, right? Nah, that’s too much trouble. Lazy F*ckers.
