Someone referenced this article over on DeadJournal earlier today, and mentioned that this makes the draft more offensive than it already is.

I don’t like the idea of a draft — I think it’s unconstitutional (as of the 13th or whatever amendment it was that made slavery unconstitutional), but after giving it some thought, I don’t see how making the draft non-discriminatory (something the government claims to be anyway) makes it MORE offensive…
