Lots of stuff I wanted to mention today, but I actually have very little to say. Most of it’s already been said by (as the title would suggest) people who are much better at it than I am. Some of them aren’t really “bloggers,” but it’s accurate enough.

From Eject! Eject! Eject comes a two part article on Deterrence (Part 1 | Part 2) that really epitomizes why I’ve chosen to devote this post purely to other people’s blogs — in comparison, whatever I wrote would be rubbish. Assuming I don’t find any articles that expose my complete lack of knowledge and/or writing talent, I’ll resume normal posts soon.

Carol Platt Liebau gives some unsolicited advice for prepping Bush on the debates.

Glenn Reynolds of Instapundit.com provides a good picture of some of the progress being made in Afghanistan. I know we’re far from perfect, but I wonder if these girls would agree with some Europeans (and some liberals in this country) that everything the U. S. does is evil.

Like I said, it’s not all bloggers. Rich Lowry, a columnist at TownHall.com, writes a good column about what we wish Bush had said in his debate. Among other things: “In the 1990s the Senate voted 95 to 0 not to adopt the Kyoto Treaty in its present form. Your party’s platform doesn’t even mention the treaty — at least I didn’t see it in there on my first reading.”

Jonah Goldberg at National Review wrote about the Vice Presidential candidate debate, which I unfortunately missed. I really would’ve liked to have seen it.

I know there were other things that I wanted to mention, but unfortunately, I’m drawing a blank right now. More posts later, possibly.
