Let’s see if I can get through this without wincing.

I heartily recommend that you give each of the blogs on my blogroll a chance. Some of them may not be to your tastes, but I find each of them to be a good read.

Dean Esmay, of Dean’s World, usually comes across as someone with an open mind who likes to get the facts before he takes a stance. He’s occasionally harsh with those who dismiss his beliefs out of hand, but I’ve never seen him shy away from a comment that points out a legitimate flaw in his logic or evidence. Not long ago, he challenged the belief that HIV is the cause of AIDS in a string of posts that drew a lot of comments. The newest string of controversial posts is on circumcision.

Dean’s argument may put a few people off, as he considers the practice to be the mutilation of the genitals of baby boys, and therefore child abuse. Still, both his posts and all the comments are worth a read.
