Is it just me, or is Moussaoui pulling out every single Hollywood “psycho” move during his trial? It’s almost like he’s actively trying to come across as pure evil, mostly by playing up every cliche that we’ve ever used to represent “pure evil” in the movies.

Moussaoui, the only person convicted in the United States on charges stemming from Sept. 11, had a different reaction. If he wasn’t looking bored or glancing at the clock, he was smiling — especially when prosecutors played more than 10 video clips that showed the hijacked planes hitting the towers and the buildings burning and crashing to the ground.

This morning, someone on the news said that, at one point, he was singing “Burn in the USA” to the tune of “Born in the USA”. That sounds unbelievable, but it’s in line with things being reported from other sources, so…

I’ll be glad when this trial is over.
