One Stack Mind in California (3/14/2006)

Our time in Arizona’s starting to run short; we’ll be leaving for West Virginia late Wednesday or (more likely) early Thursday, and spending long days driving for home (the plan currently looks like we’ll drive north to the Grand Canyon then east toward West Virginia). Today was probably the last of our long trips before then, as we headed out to San Diego for a look around.

Also, I know that the idea that there’s snow in the California mountains may not seem photo worthy, but it was easily warm enough to drive around with the windows down even there (and it was in the 70s just a few minutes before (and 2500 feet lower)), so it just seemed out of place.

We spent the better part of the day today in Mexico, visiting the beach. Pictures below. (I’d write more, but I’m exhausted.)

Back to Tucson tomorrow, I think. Maybe pictures, maybe not.

We’re planning to go into Phoenix to see the important sights tomorrow (namely, Fry’s), so we took the day today to drive down to Kitt’s Peak and Tucson. (The last picture is actually from last night, but we didn’t get any good sunset photos today, and I decided I liked this one… even if I didn’t take it.)

We did a bit of driving around Ajo today, mostly because we were too exhausted to go much farther than that today. While we were out, we visited the local museum and the mine overlook. Here are a few of the photos we took (click for larger copies).

Entering a plea

I’m not guilty of that previous post in any way, shape, or form. I had no foreknowledge of what she was planning, and I certainly didn’t help her.

I swear.
